Professional Experience

Web Design - Samples

  • Conceptualize, design and publish corporate Internet and Intranet sites using HTML with JavaScript. .
  • Manage ongoing maintenance of web site content from a wide variety of corporate content providers. Troubleshoot technical HTML issues and maintenance
  • Work with IT staff and technology vendors to assure smooth integration of web front-end elements with back-end systems including Cold Fusion, SQL server, etc.
  • Design and construct web site graphic elements, including web graphics and animated banners.
  • Design, develop and write HTML coding for help files for Internet-based purchasing card software running throughout North America at a variety of Fortune 500 companies.

Print and Graphic Design, Creation and Production - Print Samples, More Samples.

  • Conceptualize, design, develop, edit, and publish all corporate marketing collateral including company brochures, product literature, flyers, proposals, white papers, etc.
  • Create, design and develop corporate stationery, business cards, product packaging, newsletters, conference, trade-show and training presentations, etc.
  • Create, design and layout artwork for production CDs, labels, and jewel cases for desktop software products.
  • Manage all aspects of magazine page layout, graphics and advertising.

  • Plan and develop course curriculum on commercial and company-developed PC-based and mainframe software products.
  • Skilled in platform and desk-side training sessions in basic computer technology, Windows, DOS, and specialized mainframe and PC-based software.
  • Introduce, install, and implement new software programs and train local and remote offices in use of systems. Act as liaison between users and technical personnel in continuing development of programs.
  • Generate training documentation including graphic presentations, instructor guides, training manuals, user aids, participant handouts, and class descriptions.

Technical Communications

  • Design, write and edit software user manuals, functional requirements, implementation plans, and operations manuals for Internet, PC-based and mainframe software products.
  • Develop documentation plans for internal and external documentation.
  • Develop and utilize standards for user documentation with the goal of making complex technical information and instructions easily understandable to a non-technical audience.

Adobe Creative Suite including Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoShop, DreamWeaver, Fireworks, and Flash.
